New study of aspartame and cancer finds no connection

A new article published in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology concludes that the totality of evidence does not support a link between human consumption of aspartame and occurrence of cancer, addressing recent controversy arising from animal cancer bioassay results, which were interpreted by the Ramazzini Institute as indicating such a link. New article advances efforts to reduce animal toxicity testing

ToxStrategies scientists Drs. Allison Franzen and Susan Borghoff are among the authors of a new paper in the journal Critical Reviews in Toxicology.
